Retrospective 22,165 adults in the French NutriNet-Santé cohort showing higher levels of total physical activity, vigorous activity, leisure-time activity, household activity, outdoor activity, and indoor activity during the COVID-19 lockdown period were associated with lower risk of SARS-CoV-2 infection. Results show the odds ratios per 30 minute or 250 MET increment per week.
Vanhelst et al., 6 Nov 2023, France, peer-reviewed, 65 authors, study period 1 April, 2020 - 12 May, 2020, trial NCT03335644 (history).
