Predictions are based on the actual clinical results for the recommended treatments (950 studies). Calculations use R₀ = 3.0, 80% adherence, 25,000 initial seed cases, and 50% initial late treatment. Treatment combination uses a conservative estimate for complementary and synergistic effects. While strong data exists for individual treatments, combinations have less data. Actual results of many physicians and teams using partial protocols show higher efficacy. Dr. Lawrie's treatments exceed the efficacy required to reduce R below 1—indicating potential for rapidly ending the pandemic with minimal or no additional interventions, even with significant adherence and distribution challenges.
